Menu highlights
Our donburi bowls are all served on rice, and ones like Teriyaki Grilled Chicken and Wagyu Sukiyaki Beef add meat and vegetables.
Our chicken is sourced from a local supplier with valid halal certification, while our wagyu beef is not halal.
The katsu on our menu is crispy, and its name traces back to katsuretsu, which is how the English word "cutlet" was adapted into Japanese. Chicken Katsu and Prawn Katsu are among the katsu dishes on our menu.
Our Udon Noodle Soup comes in a broth that tastes rich and savoury, with several toppings to choose from, and when you'd rather have your noodles dry, Yaki Udon Dry Noodle is the one to order.
Our Japanese curry tastes sweet and savoury. It's served with rice and whichever protein you pick, katsu among them, or with vegetables in our Vegetable Curry.

Seung Hwan (Bycal) LEE started the business in 2013, and Yatai Express now has four shopping-centre food court counters: Burwood, Castle Hill, Blacktown and Mt Druitt.
