Our beginning
In 2016, we opened our first store at Macquarie Shopping Centre with a simple idea: "fast and fresh Japanese meals." From that humble beginning, Yatai Express has grown into a beloved brand, bringing the casual street food culture of Japan to Australian customers in a modern and fresh way. We started as a small yatai (屋台) and are now a cherished Japanese comfort food destination across Sydney.
